After working with Phyllis over the past few years, I saw her ability to work as the Chief of Staff to Mayor Mark Stodola who was also the President of NLC. In his role as President of NLC, he had to represent 19,000 cities and towns at events and address policy concerns with legislatures. Phyllis worked with my team to approve expense reports, travel agendas, speeches, advocate for policy, plan logistics, and a host of other things.. I was amazed at her ability to assist him in running the city while they also traveled to represent NLC . Her ability to multitask effectively and maintain personal relationships across the US are probably her greatest attributes.
